Michael and Lesa Fouther formed Equalaris Productions in 1996.  Originally it began as a design studio supplying an environment to create architecture, mixed medium works, and film projects.  Gradually over the years the company evolved eventually shedding its original shell and emerging as a full time film production company.

It is our goal here at Equalaris Productions to seize the opportunity to create and design within the independent film market.  We aim to make a significant contribution in the motion picture industry.  So far we are off to a sound start recently completing Cordially Invited, our first feature length film.  The project has been accepted to compete in the 2007 American Black Film Festival in Beverly Hills California.  The screenplay was also an official selection in the screenplay category at the San Francisco Black Film Festival.

The long-term goal of the company is to produce a succession of profitable and highly entertaining films.  The uniqueness of our projects coupled with the growing demand for quality cinema will provide us with an ample share of the movie viewing audience.
