Marvin Williams

Marvin Williams was born in Uganda, Africa.  His father, who was also in the military, knew early that his son would pursue entertainment at some level.  As a child he was incredibly entertaining and he also modeled.  The first indication of a life in entertainment came at age 6 when Marvin was a lead in his school’s annual Christmas play, “Rudolf the Red-Nosed....” That's not only when Marvin's nose had a red glow but his mind had an even greater glow as the idea of entertaining crowds grew larger.  From that point Marvin would engage family and friends with Michael Jackson renditions (24/7) and even though he didn't indulge in the performing arts in Middle and High School, he maintained a high profile in his sports career winning rings, MVP trophies and all-league stats in sports ranging from football, basketball and volleyball.

After High School Marvin dropped out of the college scene to pursue computer programming. (Hey dot COMs were IPO'n.)  It was an interesting choice because he was not sure of playing sports at the next level due to an uneasy sense of injury or early retirement which has been the case with a few of his friends in the pro-leagues.  The decision to expand his mind in a tech and entrepreneurial fashion is a decision that has had a huge impact on Marvin’s career.  Because of skills he’s acquired in business and an ever changing post-production tech-related age, Marvin now feels at home in what is the next phase of  life.  Even though Marvin has appeared in numerous low-budget and independent features as well as guest starred in TV shows ranging from CBS's “The Bold and the Beautiful" and Fox's “24,” his passion for comedy and ability to hustle a buck have given birth to Big M Entertainment.  Big M Entertainment is currently shooting and pitching the first product: a sitcom titled "The Firm.”  Big M Entertainment is scheduled to shoot 4 low-budget films next year.  The product mix is interesting: an urban drama, a buddy comedy, a horror film and lastly a suspense thriller.

In closing, as much as Marvin can and will talk about himself, he really appreciates the opportunity the production team from "Cordially Invited" allowed him.  He respects greatly their vision and energy and is proud to be a part of a production that has made the necessary steps to make it to the next level because the majority of projects never do.  He's pretty sure this is not the last time he will cross their path and he looks forward to a very entertaining future of products from their production company and his.
