Lauren was born and raised in Orange County, California.  As one of five children, she displayed a flair for the dramatic at an early age.  Her parents, Christian missionaries now living in Romania, always supported their daughter’s efforts to become a star.  During Lauren’s childhood, her mom and dad sat front row in their Newport Beach, California backyard while Lauren and her siblings put on Karate Ninja plays for the neighbors.  After graduation from Marina High School, Lauren began a modeling career.  She quickly landed bookings and appeared in major print ads for Topamax, Microsoft, Intel, and Qualcomm among others.  When Lauren read for the role of Kenya Jackson in “Cordially Invited,” it was not only her first time auditioning for a lead role, it was her first time auditioning for a feature film!  No less than 300 actresses, many with extensive film and television credits, were in hot pursuit of the role of Kenya.  Though Lauren was up against tremendous competition, in the end she landed the role.  As Kenya Jackson, the stunning, natural beauty lights up the screen as the bride du jour with the “dirty little secret.”  Her performance will surely garner her industry attention as one of the breakout talents of the year.  Lauren captures the essence of the nervous bride on her wedding day.  She is radiant from the moment she appears on screen.  She captivates the viewer with a poise and subtle charm that harkens back to stars like Grace Kelly and Audrey Hepburn.  If America is looking for a new sweetheart, then look no further than Miss Lauren Christie.  Lauren’s passion for the arts is only surpassed by her love for her family, the work she does in her church and helping disadvantaged children.
